Mansa Nicome is the owner/operator of the local State Farm Insurance agency in Neptune City, NJ. His office employs several local residents, and also hosts an internship program for high school seniors and college students. He and his State Farm team help families manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.

Mansa is a native of Trinidad and Tobago. He immigrated to Brooklyn, NY in 1985. Mansa attributes learning his hard work ethic from watching his father who worked full time to support his family while attending pharmacy school. Mansa attended the prestigious Brooklyn Technical high school, obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stony Brook University, and didn’t stop until he secured an MBA in Corporate Finance from Dowling College. Mansa began his State Farm career in 2001. His drive to succeed led him into a plethora of positions within several departments including but not limited to State Farm claims, human resources, and agency management. Since opening his Agency doors in 2008 he has qualified for several State Farm awards each year. Mansa prides himself on being a continuous learner and shares his successes by mentoring fellow State Farm Agents, in State Farm's Agency Development Program.

Mansa is a lifemember of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and as has chartered two Toastmasters International public speaking clubs. His professional designations include an Associates in Claims (AIC), Associates in Service (AIS), Competent Toastmaster (CTM) and a ChFC designation (ChFC).

Though, running a business takes a lot of time and energy, Mansa continues to give back. A sampling of Mansa’s many contributions and commitments within his community include, but not limited to the Asbury Park and Neptune Township National Night Out, the Rotary Club Polar Plunge of Asbury Park, Neptune Township's Black History Month programs, and he also provides a free defensive driving course to the community.

A well-rounded individual and when not working, Mansa enjoys reading, traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his beloved family. He is married to his wife of over twenty years Abigail. Together they have three wonderful children, Madison-daughter, Mason-son and Jordan-son.
